Rotown Rotterdam, March 2nd 2005

We've taken some of the photos from Den, much appreciated, and I've taken the liberty of using's Jamie's post as a little review...

Is fucking freezing. There has been massive amounts of snowfall. Infact the most holland has seen in over 20 years. What a time for me to come over to a different country and see my favourite band.

So my plane was only delay by half an hour which was quite a suprise. Thought it would of been much longer. Met up with Den (Toilet guy) And off we went from amsterdam schiphol airport to Rotterdam.

We found the venue quite easy and went in there and had a few pre-gig drinks where we met up with eddie, stars and shites, amnesiac and some other people i can't remember the name of. The difference in price between beer and spirits here is amazing. 1.70 euros for some heineken and 4.70 for bacardi and orange. So i had bacardi and orange because i'm camp, innit vicky.

The venue was tiiiiny, and was nowhere near sold out. I would say there was about 80/90 people at most. It was quite surreal going from seeing them at sold out bristol/london/southampton shows to seeing them in a place like the rotown. Setlist, well i got one but i haven't got it on me.. it was erm..

They played a really good show, and scary mary was unexpected because it wasn't actually on the setlist..

Then we went home, although we did have a snowfight first, which the biffs didn't wanna participate in

So now i'm in amsterdam, in an internet cafe, all by myself. It's freezing outside and my trousers are soaked where i have been attempting to wade my way through the masses of snow. I'm really hungry and i fancy a nice english breakfast. Although i'll settle for some pannekoek
