Blackened Sky
Released 11th March 2002, Biffy Clyro's debut album, and the product of 4 years of touring and hard work by the band, with its accompanying single released 57. Produced by Chris Sheldon, who would continue to work with the band over the next few years, this is arguably the band at their most anthemic, with songs veering from beautiful to raging anger, frequently within the space of a bar. Although the band's most accessible album, the beginnings of the quirkier aspects of their sound that would be explored in more depth on The Vertigo of Bliss and Infinity Land.
